CHEM 111 General/Quantitative Chemistry · Course Description: This is the first part of a two-course sequence of general chemistry. This course is designed primarily for the students majoring in sciences or in pre-professional programs. Topics covered include the scientific method; characteristics and transformations of matter, including atomic theory, chemical reactions, and the behavior of gases; an introduction to energy; and bonding and shapes of molecules.
