Students need to be trained to have a range of skills. Using technology and the Internet will give the students a jumpstart on learning how to be enterprising, adaptive, and creative. They will need technology and strong "accessing information" skills to be able to function in our demanding environment.
I am a 7th grade mathematics teacher in Mesquite Independent School District. This is my 6th year of teaching students. I currently am a graduate student at Texas A&M-Commerce, formerly East Texas State University, hoping to complete my masters in educational technology by the end of the summer.
