Technology Staff Development Resources

Information Pizza Delivery -- Hot, Fresh and Spicy

The goal of technology is to improve instruction and learning while preparing our students to live in our information society. In order for this to happen staff development must be effective in showing the teachers how to use technology to enhance their curriculum. The Internet and the World Wide Web will help teachers and students to leave the isolation of the classroom and to join the camaraderie of the global community.

This page has sections of links to web pages to help the technology trainer find Internet sites to use during staff development. The first section will help create an awareness of the vast educational sites available. The second section will demonstrate an application that the teacher can use in the classroom. The next section will provide links showing how other teachers have integrated technology into their curriculum. After these sections some sample lesson plans are developed to assist the trainer in the development of some beginning technology sessions.
