Technology today is the key for all children to be prepared in the future. Teachers know and educational researchers confirm that the most meaningful learning takes place when students interact with the computer; students learn best by doing.
I am a fourth year school teacher in the Mesquite Independent School District. I teach 7th grade reading and 7th and 8th ESL at Kimbrough Middle School. I know what you are thinking, "Why middle school? Are you crazy?" This transisitional age is exciting and challenging day to day but ever so rewarding. My goal as a teacher is to integrate more technology into the classroom and make life long learners out of my students. My personal philosophy of education is that all children can learn and it is my responsiblity as a public teacher to challege each student to his/her fullest potential. Carpe diem.
