Biography

The William A. Owens Centennial Celebration is a collaborative effort between Texas A&M University-Commerce and Paris Junior College to commemorate the extraordinary career and life of a brilliant story-teller and writer.

Not only will Owens be remembered through special events planned around his birthday, but also through the inclusion of his works in curricula. His works will be read and discussed across our campuses.

This website will provide information on events as they are planned, a short biography, works list, photographs, remembrances, and a bibliography.
