Young Adolescent - sponsored essay contest -
97 applicants,
all from 6th grade. We gave away a first place prize of
$75.00 and 2nd place of $25.00. All applicants were given a
free ice cream cone donated by Sonic. The essay topic was
.....talk about your favorite teacher and explain why they
were your favorite......what qualities do good teachers
possess?

Angel Tree - provided toys,
clothing, etc. to Angels in conjunction with Cooper
Headstart Program
