The Spring Semester Texas Association of Broadcast Educators meeting will be held in Austin Friday, February 26th, 2010 at the TAB building.  Although it is a few months away,
please be thinking of what you would like on the agenda.
At the dinner that night, George Marti will be honored as the TABE Broadcaster of the Year.

We voted at the meeting last spring to make this more of a faculty-oriented conference, so no students will be present.  One session will be used to do a round table and bring everyone up to date with what is going on at our schools.  Any another suggestions for panels/sessions?  If so, contact TABE vice-president Brenda Jaskulske at Brenda.Jaskulske<at>unt.edu

Why should your department be a TABE member?

Students at TABE Member Schools may apply free during each Spring semester for TBEF Scholarships.  Plus, faculty and students at TABE Member schools are able to attend the TAB Convention in August, and the TABE Spring Semester Conference in February.  Faculty at TABE Member Schools also get to register for the August TAB Convention for low the Sales/Programming member rate.  If your school is not a member school,  students may join TAB as a Student Member in order to apply for scholarships, or, have your department join now so all students in your program qualify for these and many other benefits.
